Regulatory bundles

This feature is only available to Autopilot customers on the Pro or Business plans.

The Regulatory bundles page allows you to configure/upload documents for one or more regulatory bundles to your Autopilot account, where a regulatory bundle represents a set of documents that identifies a person or business entity in a given country.

Certain countries require software organizations like Autopilot to collect such a regulatory bundle, so that these organizations' products can legally utilize mobile numbers and send SMS messages.

You can only configure one regulatory bundle per country at a time.

Check if your country requires a regulatory bundle

To check if your country requires a regulatory bundle:

  1. Ensure you have accessed the Setup page, and have clicked through to SMS setup > Regulatory bundles.

  2. On this page, click New regulatory bundle.

  3. On the regulatory bundle’s Setup page, use the Phone number’s country list to locate your country. If your country is not shown, then you do not need to upload a regulatory bundle and you do not need to proceed any further.

Upload documents for your country’s regulatory bundle

To upload the required documents for your country’s regulatory bundle:

  1. After checking your country’s regulatory bundle requirements, or if you arrived at this page when adding a number, then from the Setup page, choose the appropriate Phone number’s country from the list (if this is not already selected).
